In addition to the function buttons, version 6.8 of the software introduced right-click menus. Now, you are able to edit, copy, or create new profiles with a simple right-click from any of the main eCoordinator grids. The method of selecting checkboxes and using the function buttons to perform these tasks still works, too!
Regardless of which records are selected, whichever record your mouse pointer is currently hovering over at the time you select to "Edit" or "Copy" will be the record that is edited or copied. In the image below, although the volunteer profile for "Jessica Baird" is selected, the eCoordinator user had hovered over the profile for "Barb Banks" and right-clicked. Therefore, when clicking to "Edit," it will be Barb's profile which will open up, and not Jessica's.
You will notice that when rows are selected, the entire row becomes highlighted yellow. When the mouse pointer is hovering over a row, however, that single row becomes highlighted light yellow. This is to help users be sure that the profile for which they wish to perform a right-click action is the one that the cursor is currently over.
These are the locations in the software where right-click menus are available, and the options available there.
