Mass email problems

Hi,

I have a user who sends mass emails and is getting this message bounced back to him.
smtp;552 REQUESTED MAIL ACTION ABORTED:
HEADERS EXCEED 32K BYTES OR RECORD TOO LONG
From what I've googled so far it would appear there are too many email addresses in the header of the email thus bouncing it back. Is this the case here? This also comes up:
5.6.0 Headers too large
Final-Recipient: RFC822
invalid format [f] - see RFC2822
From googling that, it would appear that he could solve this problem by putting the addresses in Bcc: rather than To: as Bcc apparently isn't part of the header.Disclaimer: I'm not an email admin. We don't exactly have one at this point... I've been tasked to patch up any problems.

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
